I've gathered a bunch of articles that didn't make it into the full newsletters because I ran out of space.  I hope you find them interesting.  If you have any suggestions for future topics in the Leaders Journey newsletter, please send them my way.

I take issue with opinion pieces like this because the authors never talk about how to pay for the program they propose.  The same applies to politicians from both parties.

The Federal government should not take an active stake in any firm.  The investment will not turn out well, just as the government's investment in Solyndra failed in 2009.  A better approach would be to use their purchasing power to change behavior.  If you want chips made in the US, give procurement advantages to companies that sell products with American-made components.

My main thought about American Eagle and Cracker Barrel:  There are many more important things to get incensed about – wars in Ukraine and Gaza, tariff fears and trade negotiations are just two examples.  With all that is happening in the world, why does the President have time to engage or comment on either of these?  (This opinion is non-partisan because the topics have angered both ends of the political spectrum.
